Wool buyer expands

Segard Masurel has expanded its wool buying operation in the South Island.

It said that following the closure of H Dawson Farm Direct, three new buyers had been appointed.

Brett Bolton of Riwaka covers the Nelson Marlborough area and will continue to operate the existing wool store and receivals in Riwaka with Tom Drummond.

Mike Palmer, in Nelson, will coves the Nelson, Marlborough and North Canterbury regions.

Brian Shaw will look after the Southland and South Otago areas.

These three will join our existing operation run by Nick Redding and supported by Grant Harris in Invercargill.

Segard Masurel is one of the major wool exporters in New Zealand, handling over 200,000 bales per annum.
