Older cattle numbers were limited, with one line of Hereford-Friesian steers, 530kg, making $2.49/kg. All cows offered were boners, with Friesian the standout, selling for $1.68-$1.75/kg, crossbred $1.38-$1.68/kg. Jersey prices dropped to $1.16-$1.35/kg, while one line of exotic earned $1.58/kg.

Store cattle met reasonable demand and sold well for what they were, with 2-year Hereford-Friesian steers, 432-485kg, fetching $2.49-$2.53/kg. R2 steers made $2.31/kg, 2-year Friesian bulls $2.40. R2 Murray Grey and Friesian, 320-370kg sold for $2.72-$2.93/kg. Heifers were the pick of the bunch, with 2-year Hereford-Friesian making $2.57-$2.62/kg, and straight Friesian managing $2.29-$2.53/kg. R2 lines fetched $2.54-$2.63/kg for Hereford-Friesian, and $2.26/kg for Angus-cross.

Weaner volumes were limited and of mixed quality, with some lines struggling to make $1/kg. Angus-cross steers, 170-216kg, made $600-$620, Hereford-Friesian, 155-171kg, $320-$500. Off-type crossbred, 90-130kg, sold for just $100-$145. The better bulls were Hereford-Friesian and Friesian, and earned $460-$710, but again a tail-end of crossbred only managed $100-$320. Angus was the standout in the heifer pens, with 275kg making $650, while small off-types sold for just $105-$150.

Mixed-age ewes sold for $58, rams $20, lambs $65-$90.
